NRA Basic Pistol Course
The NRA Basic Pistol course is a comprehensive, fundamentals-focused class designed to build safe, confident, and capable handgun owners.
This is a full-day course (approximately 6–8 hours) that includes:
- Firearm safety rules and safe handling
- How handguns function
- Proper grip, stance, and body mechanics
- Sight alignment and sight picture
- Trigger control and follow-through
- Loading, unloading, and clearing common malfunctions
- Live-fire range training to apply classroom instruction
This class is ideal for:
- New shooters
- LTC holders wanting to improve fundamentals
- Anyone looking to become more confident and consistent with a handgun
The NRA Basic Pistol course can be completed in one day and provides a strong foundation for continued training.
Texas License to Carry (LTC) Classes
I offer Texas LTC training both online and in person, giving you flexibility while still maintaining high training standards.
Online Texas LTC Course
The online course allows you to complete the classroom portion on your own schedule. Once completed, you can schedule the required shooting qualification separately.
In-Person Texas LTC Course
The in-person course covers Texas law, use-of-force considerations, safe handgun storage, and legal responsibilities of carrying in Texas, followed by the required shooting qualification.
Both options are designed to meet Texas requirements while ensuring you understand not just what the law says, but how it applies in real life.
Texas LTC Shooting Qualification Only
Already completed the classroom portion online and just need to finish the shooting qualification? I offer LTC shooting qualification sessions only.
This includes:
- Range safety briefing
- Qualification course of fire
- Completion of required documentation
This option is ideal for students who want a professional, stress-free qualification experience.
Private Firearms Instruction
Private instruction is one of the most effective ways to improve quickly.
Private lessons can be:
- One-on-one
- Small groups (up to three people)
- Friends, couples, or family members
Training is customized to your needs and may include:

- Drawing and presentation (where appropriate)

Women-Only Classes

Stop the Bleed® Training
Firearms training and personal safety go hand in hand with medical preparedness.
The Stop the Bleed® course teaches lifesaving skills that can be used in:
- Accidental injuries

- Traumatic incidents
Topics include:
- Bleeding control
- Tourniquet use
- Wound packing
- Scene safety and response
This course is valuable for individuals, families, churches, businesses, and first responders alike.
